I am a games designer that has been working in the games industry since 2008. Prior to that, I had worked in QA for a year, and spent 6 years studying Software Development and Games Technology.
During my time as a games designer, I have worked for Rebellion Developments, Jagex Ltd., and Radiant Worlds. Currently, I am working as a Senior Designer for Rebellion.
I have worked on a number of games including:
- Call of Duty: World at War – Final Fronts (PS2)
- Rogue Warrior (PS3 and Xbox360)
- Neverdead (PS3 and Xbox360)
- Sniper Elite V2 (PC)
- Nazi Zombie Army (PC)
- Transformers Universe (unreleased project)
- SkySaga (unreleased project)
- Strange Brigade (PC, PS4, and Xbox One)
I also try to spend as much of my spare time working on games and designs of my owns, as well as learning more skills to better improve myself and my work. And of course, play games.
I feel that I have learnt quite a bit in my career so far, and would like to share my experiences, some thoughts, and any progress I have made so far in any ongoing projects that I am working on.
I am also a mother to a child who is starting to cut their teeth into the big bad world if games, so I may also share any experiences or observations that we have made in our gaming journey together.
As well as sharing my experiences and general game design musings, I would also like to help out and support others who are looking to become designers, or those who have already made their steps into the industry and just needs someone to bounce ideas or thoughts with.
